Burn Out Mama in Turku Jazz Festival and Malmitalo/Helsinki in March
March is the absolute BURN OUT MAMA time. I´m happy to have these incredible musicians in Finland, welcome Ed Jones on sax, Geoff Gascoyne on bass, Orphy Robinson on vibes and Mika Mylläri on trumpet - playing in Turku Jazz Festival on Sunday, March 14 at 5 pm at Vimma Concert Venue. Turku Jazz Festival is one of the most established Jazz Festivals in Finland with high artistic profile. For over 40 years has Turku been hosting this intensive international festival. (congrats to Kimmo Hyyppä, the artistic director of the festival :)We are all looking forward to have a splendid time in Turku, one of my favourite cities in Finland. What happens the next day, on March 15, is that we´ll pack our packs and travel to Helsinki to play at Culture Center Malmitalo, which is hosting plenty of jazz concerts. So please join us either in Turku or Helsinki for some original stuff and heat! PS. Reija Lang Trio album is gonna be released in the very beginning of March so stay tuned for that!
